magic stripes

I am actually wrestling with socks..I bought Magic Stripes by lionbrand..and am finding the pattern that came with it confusing without the pictures....but the worst part is..I'm bending my bamboo needles because the yarn is so small to hold onto! My hands are exceedingly sore..Someone asked me the other day what price I would sell them for..I have no clue..nor do I feel I'm experienced enough to sell what I make..I'd love to see how long it takes me to do these socks..but free time is limited..as I'm doing some major cleaning also on my nights off..
I finished the socks done in Wool-Ease in the worsted weight..what lovely fluffy fuzzy socks they made..hid any mistakes!
Oh..also..I just bought a lovely!! spinning kit..now if I could just figure out what to do with these slivers of yarn(that's what they are called..)..not sure if this is ready for spinning?? or if it needs one more step*LOL* foolish me ..I always seem to jump in with both feet and a blindfold!

Ok..I've got a well deserved mini vacation coming up to go to new york..by train..1 night in a hotel..a stop at a club..then a bus tour..I'm definitly going to bring my knitting..maybe a pair of socks I can pictures of all the places they've been just like that place that had the traveling gnome

been a long time

Between the hectic work (people love to stress me out)and the multiple trips to AC Moore..*sigh* I just had to run out and get a ball winder today..and Greg..broke my favourite lamp..so I ventured forth into the unknown land of Target..hmmm clearance seems to be good to me..2 bucks for a clip on little halogen..cool...so now I'm sitting here..knitting a washcloth/ dishrag..and tugging..and knitting..and tug...hmmm..it's stuck..look down and it's in the mouth of my beloved calico Mystery...brat..after I ask her nicely to let it go and go lay down..such a good girl..and continue knitting..hmmm ever notice how absorbent cotton is??well..she must'a lost a ton of spit on this one cause that kitty kisss is SLIMY~~ewwww..that warshcloth's definitly gonna need a bath when I'm done with it*LOL* it's was a goood inch or few worth of wet cotton!! love that baby..yesterday she decided to help mommy by unkotting my yarn..it was my magic stripe sock yarn!! luckily only doing a gauge swatch that I put down..but seriously that little shit just chewed it in half!

ohh well..back to the joys of knitting..love and light...or dark and dirty..
